Post by lesxdp » Sun Jan 20, 2019 6:18 pm

In the last four league games only City and United, both with twelve points have more than our ten. :D

Do the last 10 matches, looks more realistic.

Prefer to only look at recent past and the future. Lets focus on the positives.

Maybe they are facts but they are also history. Lets look forward with renewed confidence.

On current form could you really see Everton putting five past us, or even beating us?

What will keep us up is how we play till the end of the season, not what's gone on before. Pointless looking in the past.

And I doubt you'll find any commentator, pundit or anyone else who is involved in football that thinks we will go down!

On current form from when? The last 4 games? Is that current "form"? When does form start and end?

Typically form tables relate to the last six games.

The last 3 or 4 matches. That's what current form has ALWAYS been based on.

Do you not think we are playing really well at the moment, btw?

taio says 6 games, you say 3-4. Which is it?

Playing well, in terms of our results, yes. Watford and West Ham games stand out in terms of actual performances.

I'm sure you're capable of googling premier league form table and looking at a few examples

Interestingly you have previously been very keen to downplay the fact we'd finished 7th over the course of last season & the great achievement that entailed and instead focused on our performances in the calendar year of 2018. So are you only happy to highlight our performance in a calendar year when we are doing poorly?

Sorry mate I'm not sure I follow? I already did highlight the calendar year as being poor. It wasn't to take anything away from the achievement of finishing 7th, just a statement of facts at the time.

This calendar year looks fantastic, results wise.

I think part of the issue is that when people have opposing viewpoints, there's a lack mentality where people shout you down.

I only state what has happened. The rest is my opinion and opinions should be accepted, whether agrees or not.
