Post by ClaretTony » Mon Jan 21, 2019 9:15 pm

We’ve had a thread today on the events at Turf Moor 10 years ago tonight.

Three years ago today saw the launch of Up the Clarets with the Bee Hole End.

Big thanks from me for all your support over the three years.

Wow 3 years. Time has flown by. Thanks for all your hard work Tony. Vital site for many clarets especially those who live away from the local area.

I remember posting the rebellious opening post as we all jumped ship. Was a big gamble and the rapid influx of jumpers really helped to ignite things. Things have gone from strength to strength since and it’s a pleasure to read and post on a forum that isn’t blocked by static ads.

Great forum. But a bit of a closed shop. Had two people this week tell me they tried registering but never got the confirmation link.

Definitely a success despite the occasional 'oddball' probably locked in a dark room wearing a gimp mask and trying to relieve the boredom of finishing their homework early.

Thanks to CT and the Admin team for making it what it has become, an excellent place to find out the truth, the whole truth and plenty of lies

I remember you telling me about the new site a couple of weeks prior to launch as we were scoring goals for fun at MK Dons.

Happy days!

Yes, big thanks I would be lost without this. Still regard this as not just a football forum but a social media site for anyone with an interest in our
community, of which BFC is a core part. Perhaps we should have an annual 'be nice to each other day," to commemorate.
