Gate receipts are about 5m, compared to over 100m tv money.SGr wrote:How much of our overall income does matchday revenue account for?
Looking after us would be adopting Huddersfield’s season ticket prices. We’re not in the championship. We can have it both ways at this level.

well that is a numb argument - it is not how much we have spent it is how much the quality of play we desire has gone up (and their wages)SGr wrote:Spent less on transfer fees than we did 2 years ago.

I’m not the one who made transfer fees a point of argument. I agree with you. Just stating a fact since the debate seems to be about figuresChester Perry wrote:well that is a numb argument - it is not how much we have spent it is how much the quality of play we desire has gone up (and their wages)

True. But thats a pretty nihillistic way of looking at things.Ashingtonclaret46 wrote:I find it extremely amusing that people worry about something over which they have no control whatsoever.
The whole transfer window scenarioa is yet another con, manufactured by the media for their own benefit in the hope that fans will work themselves up into a frenzy over what may or may not be. It certainly seems to work for an inordinate number of people.
It's only a game and que sera sera no matter how much agonising you do over the whole situation. Just relax!
If we didnt invest so much energy, emotion and time into it then the highs wouldnt be worth it.
