Gate receipts are about 5m, compared to over 100m tv money.

well that is a numb argument - it is not how much we have spent it is how much the quality of play we desire has gone up (and their wages)

I’m not the one who made transfer fees a point of argument. I agree with you. Just stating a fact since the debate seems to be about figures

True. But thats a pretty nihillistic way of looking at things.

If we didnt invest so much energy, emotion and time into it then the highs wouldnt be worth it.
