I thought the current regime at BFC was ripping the punters off with constantly raising the prices of everything..... Maybe its only "Twix" where they are doing that ;)

Joking apart its great news :D :D :D

Great news and great timing, the feel good factor continues after our recent improvement on the field.

Well done everyone involved, its great to see the club doing things to benefit it's loyal fans.

Edit - It doesn't say how you would cancel a seat though if using direct debit, it just says sit back and relax. What do you do or how do you cancel if you don't want to renew, just stop the DD? If so when?
Asking for a freind.

If someone turns 18 in March this year will they renew at U18 price?

I read somewhere that match day revenue represents about 7% of turnover, so the club can afford to keep ticket prices low.

No,as you will be 18 when the season starts.

The club have said they will automatically change age bands and just increase DDs for you.

I read somewhere that if bfc let fans in for free they would still have £20m spare a season after all players/staff wages were paid, so we could quite easily match the Huddersfield deal if we wanted to, but it's Burnley n we don't do that. Maybe we could get free coach travel to an away game @ some point this season when buying a ticket? Then again!

Be interesting to see if the price cap is enough to keep ST numbers the same?
Quite a few rumblings this season and plenty of premier league fans have tickets at the moment.
With the novelty waring off, is it enough.

Make hay whilst the sun shines I believe is the phrase.

If they reduce prices or waste money the amount or quality of signings could go down.

Question that somebody here might be able to answer

We currently have 2 adult & 1 over 65 in the JML but want to start taking nephew on so looking st moving to family stand.

The T&C say “Adults/Over 65/U22 must be purchased with u18, U12 or u10 ticket”

Does this mean that each “adult” needs to have a child to accompany them or would my nephew cover us all?

This is all dependent of course of us actually being able to get 4 seats together up there in the first place

Not all will be down to the pricing though.
The cost of the whole package for the product on offer is a fine balance.

The kick off times and days games are played in the premier league alone has seen a few of our group in the not renewing camp.

Wish the club was as keen at spending some money on some players, in stead of getting money out of us season ticket holders early, very greedy club

You will be fine, we had 2 adults and only 1 child previously in there.
Like you say getting 4 togetger may be the issue. I'd suggest going down, the first day of sales after the early bird period ends for the best chance.

This is the "Greedy Club" that haven't changed the prices of ST's in 6 years now....
This is the "Greedy Club" who do not charge any extra for paying for your ST in installments.

Bloody hell some people are never satisfied.

24 quid a match (JHU upper centre) for Premier League football not bad when you consider how much an Arsenil, Manure, Citeh or Chelski ticket would cost you in their most expensive season ticket spots... get a grip lad.

The real trouble is that when you go down and the TV money drops everyone will complain if you put the prices back up for what people view as an inferior product.

Season tickets should be on sale at the start of the new season not half way through this one. When we were in the 3rd and 4th division the money they did get in early from selling season tickets early was spent on players,,Bob lord out

I had to pay full adult price even though I was 65 after just 1 home game. Change onto the over 65 rate next season though :)

Spot on, although those teams don't actually play in the premier league, but if we had the players, success and trophies those sides have had recently and the entertainment on show at those grounds every other week, I'm sure people wouldnt mind paying an extra few hundred quid.

I spent nearly a grand this summer watching half a Burnley side scrape past 2 poor sides no better than championship standard, then get beaten by a distictively average team.

It's not all about the ticket/seaon ticket cost, it's about the package on offer as a whole

They are not currently on sale and when this happens you'll have until 1 April to benefit from the early bird prices. So stop moaning.

Perhaps it is just the ticket office reporting the current situation, when they make a sale, this weather.

Good system in place as you don't have to do anything, and the monthly installments remain the same.

From the site:

All supporters who pay via direct debit will receive a letter and email in early February informing them of the price freeze, and the process to follow if you no longer wish to continue with the Direct Debit and not be renewed.

I wonder where all the fans calling for the club to spend millions on over inflated players in this window would sit if the club came out with a massive increase in ST prices to help fund the spending.......

£329 for a season in the prem for me in CFS is bloody great value....

A good question. Price freezes are not the miraculous great gesture they’re made out to be when the price is out of reach of many of our fans in the first place.

You cannot beat UTC for entertainment. Just to put things into perspective, went to Altrincham last week and dad (concession) paid £10 to watch a National League North game in a very uncomfortable seat. He pays £13.79 a game to watch PL football from JHU centre.

Greedy club  OMG what do some fans want? I genuinely believe you could give some Burnley fans £10 and they would complain that it wasn't £20.

You would think this post would have loads of posts saying good stuff however UTC posters are focus their disappointment on the lack of activity in the January transfer window.

As good as the offer is, I think even if we stay up for a few more years we'll slowly start to lose season ticket holders now the novelty of being in the Prem is wearing off and that we're likely to be struggling every year.

Give me a shout if you're struggling, I'll be saving £30 a month anyway, so I'll be more than happy to help out a friend in need.
