Stanley v FLD
Think Derby might have a bit too much for Accy today.

I see Ashley Cole hasn't made the bench. I thought he had long retired to be honest!

What kit are Derby wearing?
It’s not white so not the home kit, but it not “not white” enough for it to be an away kit???

Here you go pal. Persevere, it's nearly half time and it sometimes dies until the second half.

HT. Not bad from Stanley, can see this being a one-niler either way, fairly even.
£380,000 for Accy if they win, apparently.

No, you're thinking of the Zambezi, Frank.

Oh dear not a great challenge gets Barlaser sent off... can't have any complaints though.

Stanley doing well until Barlaser just got sent off for a second yellow. Very reckless.
Could be up against it now.

Stanley would love the replay now. Megabucks and the chance to be in the 5th round draw with the Clarets!

Second viewing of Bogle and I’m not impressed again but I still like Holmes but probably not good enough for a PL midfield.

Stanley better team throughout.
Just wish someone would of took John Moss out with a two footed tackle.

He most likely prevented Accy scoring. His manager will be pleased he took one for the team in the last minute.piston broke wrote:Fair point and then he gets sent off.

Re: Stanley v FLD
Have we really reached the point when it's ok to wish physical harm upon a referee doing his best?
No wonder no bugger wants to do the job at grassroots level. No game without a ref.

He should be criticising his reckless players instead (including that little **** that stamped on a Charlton player’s head the other week)
Tin pot club.
Re: Stanley v FLD
Stanley second club for loads of clarets...probs had more fun at crown ground than usual drubbing at citeh
Re: Stanley v FLD
What a bell end Coleman is. Disgusting the way has spoken about the referee. Criticise him but don’t abuse him.

Re: Stanley v FLD
Coleman - good manager
Moss - dreadful referee.
But on this occasion Moss was totally correct and Coleman out of order.

Everyone moans about refs but very few are becoming them. More volunteers quality goes up. When I finished playing at a reasonable amateur level due to an injury a refs assessor talked me out of being a ref due to the violence and hostility they receive from "touch line experts "

Cheesed me off listening to Gaby Logan on MOTD when the first words out were about 'Frank Lampard's Derby'.
It's puke inducing, will it ever end?

Re: Stanley v FLD
He has apologised to Jon Moss today and said that it was 'heat of the moment' stuff. Apology has been accepted, mind you, I think that one of the problems was that a PL referee penalises a lot more contact than the referees in the lower league who still accept that football is a contact sport and they are not dealing with prima donnas every week. Proper football.
