Not sure why we have to have political opinions in a match report but each to their own. Opinions, after all, are like backsides, we all have them....

Anyone seen our official following for yesterday?

Strange comment. Probably better than Taylor 3 though.Hibsclaret wrote:Not sure why we have to have political opinions in a match report but each to their own. Opinions, after all, are like backsides, we all have them....

Hopefully get it later and I’ll add it to the results page. Don’t seem to get it very often now on the day.jrgbfc wrote:Anyone seen our official following for yesterday?

Bit of bad luck there re the journey home, we stayed for a meal then jumped on the X43 and he went through Failsworth to M60 then got off M66 at Bury, driver must have got the heads up from your man. wondered why we had gone the scenic route.

We did end up going down Rochdale Road to M60 but we’d been on the bus for an hour almost when he slowly crawled past Shudehill tram stop at the top of the Arndale Centre.claretgimmer wrote:Bit of bad luck there re the journey home, we stayed for a meal then jumped on the X43 and he went through Failsworth to M60 then got off M66 at Bury, driver must have got the heads up from your man. wondered why we had gone the scenic route.
We’d have been better coming off the M66 and going on the old road up to Edenfield.
I wasn’t much later getting home from Watford last week.

That's a fair summery of the game.

I ran one of the Accy Clarets coaches yesterday and arrived back in Accrington exactly 2 hours after the match finished.ClaretTony wrote:We did end up going down Rochdale Road to M60 but we’d been on the bus for an hour almost when he slowly crawled past Shudehill tram stop at the top of the Arndale Centre.

We'd have been better coming off the M66 and walking home!

Can’t be too positive when you lose 5-0 but you have to take into account the quality of the oppositionBilly Balfour wrote:That's a fair summery of the game.

Re: REPORT: Better cabinets at IKEA
Vydra made the chance himself with a great tackle but you're should of scored.
Long was at fault for the penalty, had the ball under complete control and could of cleared it anywhere. Bizarre to try and get Pope to come for it 7 or 8 yards away with how quick them City players are.

Just a shame Vydra couldn't have made it 1-1 at least giving us something to fight for at the time.ClaretTony wrote:Can’t be too positive when you lose 5-0 but you have to take into account the quality of the opposition

My Saturday afternoon was better - I took my young granddaughter to a soft play area.
If only my phone had stopped buzzing with goal updates.

Not a bad turnout. And were the only fans to make any noise. I was a tourist sat among tourists in the home endjrgbfc wrote:Anyone seen our official following for yesterday?
