If we can keep the same 11 as v Watford, we can't complain.
Will be a team certainly capable of keeping United quiet, giving them a game and maybe even getting a result.

They're due a defeat. Let's hope it's against us.

I have to admit I didn't rate Bardsley for a long time but he's done a brilliant job the last few games when called upon. So I'm happy to admit I was wrong. He's still a red card waiting to happen though

I wouldn't change the team from Saturday. They put up a good fight against a side worth 100's of millions of pounds and have probably done enough to keep the shirt

You could have bet your house on Bardsley being fit for Tuesday.

Hope both are fit for the UTD game, Bards will be well up for it, they are due a defeat but i dont think it will be against us, a point would be a very good result, guddy gives us a bit of class, i hope Wood and Barnsey are up front to rattle them up.

Don't risk jbg if any doubt. We need him to start against the saints

We usually perform well at Old Trafford even the 2 defeats we've suffered have been unfortunate, amazing to remember we have drawn on our last 2 visits there, and should have won last year,we'll need to defend resolutely and hope some of their stars have an off night, but we capable of taking something from this game,we were only seconds away from a draw at Wembley against the spuds, pushed Arsenal hard away also, somewhere this season we'll take points from a top six side,no reason it can't be tomorrow.

Why? Hendrick has been arguably our best player over the last 3-4 games. He looks very comfortable on the right of midfield and even though JBG is one of my favourite players, I'd keep Jeff in for now and use JBG as an impact sub for when Dwight tires later on in games.summitclaret wrote:Don't risk jbg if any doubt. Re: ARTICLE: Bardsley and Guðmundsson could be fit for Old Trafford
If JBG is fit it gives Dyche a nice nightmare really. Of course JBG should start but we have played well without him and as some have said Hendrick has been a bit of a revelation recently. I'm guessing JBG on the bench as a second half starter (unless Hendrick is having another blinder).
I am another 'humble pie eater' as well with regard to Bardsley, I have criticised him and questioned his signing more than once but he is, at the moment, the one player who has real bite and passion in the Barton mould, but as someone has said he is maybe a red card waiting to happen. He MUST start though if available.

Bardsley yes, but leave JBG on bench
Hendrick has played well enough lately to keep the shirt

We need to nurse JBG back into action slowly the last thing we want is for him to pick up another injury, see no reason not to start Jeff at OT,JBG is a better option for Saturday when we should have more of the ball and need creativity.
