About 1975 and the Derbyshire Lancs cricket match was abandoned for the day due to snow. Snow? Had a about an inch on Friday but gone now...back to the shorts again as it’s a bright sunny and dry day down here.
In fact we are off to the sea side in a bit, sometimes football has to take a back seat on a day like this in the middle of winter.
