Yeah, if only we had a marketing team so that our recruitment team didn’t have to fanny around making videos instead of signing players.BurnleyFC wrote:Spent more tIme making stupid videos about underwhelming than they have actually trying to improve the squad it seems.

Yep Sky reporting we've shut up shop. 12 million for Adams rejected... Did we not have any other targets? Midfielders maybe?
The marketing department have done well with the signing announcement, so at least someone attached to the club has had a good window.

Leicester signed Maddison and Pereira in summer because they needed a creator and a right back. They signed Tielemans in January because they needed a centre mid. Simple formula of knowing what they need and then looking for a young player the potential to improve in that roll.

Either way. Terrible window and not good enough.
Mr Garlick.has some explaining to do IMO and if we go down as a result then maybe he needs to go.

To be fair, Dyche was pretty negative about the window from early in the month.

Ta da yet another example of total and complete amateurism when it comes to the transfer window. Absolutely pathetic and moronic. How much more of this nonsense must fans endure. If we get relegated then Dyche will be gone and Garlick most go. No excuses and no defence, do the decent thing and go.

I would have thought we’d have put a bid in for Juke seeing as we were bidding for another Birmingham player.
Good to sell Vokes as he wasn’t pulling any trees up but replacing with Crouch makes us look silly really.
Did we pay anything for Crouch?

There may well have been additional costs such as a signing on and agents fees.
