Spent more tIme making stupid videos about an underwhelming signing than they have actually trying to improve the squad it seems.

Yeah, if only we had a marketing team so that our recruitment team didn’t have to fanny around making videos instead of signing players.

I went down to Smiths (sic) earlier and all they had was a Peter Crouch ruler and a Morrissey CD. Heaven knows I'm measurable now.

Following a seven-and-a-half year association, @petercrouch has today joined @BurnleyOfficial.

Peter leaves with the best wishes of everyone at the Club and will always be welcome back at the bet365 Stadium.#SCFC

Yes probably sometime around August 2019.

Sports Mole now reporting that West Brom are still interested in signing Ward. They really have to be joking after our previous dealings with them.

Yep Sky reporting we've shut up shop. 12 million for Adams rejected... Did we not have any other targets? Midfielders maybe?

The marketing department have done well with the signing announcement, so at least someone attached to the club has had a good window.

Spot on. Good lads, domestic lack of imagination, p*sstake bids.

Leicester signed Maddison and Pereira in summer because they needed a creator and a right back. They signed Tielemans in January because they needed a centre mid. Simple formula of knowing what they need and then looking for a young player the potential to improve in that roll.

Either way. Terrible window and not good enough.

Mr Garlick.has some explaining to do IMO and if we go down as a result then maybe he needs to go.

To be fair, Dyche was pretty negative about the window from early in the month.

We shouldn’t be surprised.

Ta da yet another example of total and complete amateurism when it comes to the transfer window. Absolutely pathetic and moronic. How much more of this nonsense must fans endure. If we get relegated then Dyche will be gone and Garlick most go. No excuses and no defence, do the decent thing and go.

If he gets his way he might. FA head role free, showing off his financial prudency, already involved at a decision making level in football...

I think things will become clear this coming summer.

Amateurish, or does Garlick know exactly what he’s doing?

He really needs to explain this one.

Hope we can manage to stay up with what we have got. Wood and Barnes simply have to stay fit for the rest of the season

I would have thought we’d have put a bid in for Juke seeing as we were bidding for another Birmingham player.

Good to sell Vokes as he wasn’t pulling any trees up but replacing with Crouch makes us look silly really.

Did we pay anything for Crouch?

Whatever, it seems we’ve again missed out on a target for want of a couple of million, despite having raised several million from selling Vokes. Do we NEVER learn???

We’re 4th bottom of the league ffs!

Indirectly as we received less for Vokes.
There may well have been additional costs such as a signing on and agents fees.
