Phil Bardsley
Phil Bardsley
Many thought Phil Bardsley to be past it.
He's currently one of our best players and I'm willing to give Peter Crouch a chance before writing him off!

Jonathan Walters should have been able to do a job for us and he's been a complete failure. Just because one old guy is doing okay for us doesn't mean beanpole will.

Re: Phil Bardsley
I hope he doesn’t. I hope he doesn’t have to. Nothing against Crouch but I see his role as a sub when we’re chasing a game. I know it’s optimistic, but i’ll be more than happy if we don’t need to use him.cockneyclaret wrote:Crouch suits our attacking play..

I don't think we need be chasing a game. We could be winning and just giving the opposition something else to think about.TheFamilyCat wrote:I hope he doesn’t. I hope he doesn’t have to. I don't get all the negativity around this signing. Sure, I would have liked to see a couple more arrive, but this is a different option for us. One of his former clubs up on Saturday.. who knows!?
Welcome to Burnley Peter!

Re: Phil Bardsley
Bardsley has been inspired since he can in from the Liverpool game onwards. He has kept quiet some of the best left-wing talent in the Premier league this season. If Crouch can impact anything like that then I will be happy.
