Sunderland and Will Griggs
Just been listening to the Sunderland CEO on TalkSport and he said they made 6 bids to Wigan yesterday to try and get Will Griggs.
He said they had spoken to Wigan and been given a price but when they eventually reached that price were told 'That is the price, not the selling price'.
He pulled the plug and they walked away. Good on him I say!

Sunderland's 8th bid was accepted, reported £4,000,000 plus add ons, manager and Chief Exec hoping it will be completed today subject to FA approval.

Why did you feel sorry for them?
Because they spunked millions on awful footballers or because they appointed shite managers?

£4m???
That’s a good price for Wigan. Especially when you think what Vokes went for.

He said Netflix were filming all day and it would probably be shown if they release the follow up series.
No sympathy for them as a Club because they overspent but as always it's the supporters who suffer, albeit emotionally not financially.
Big Sam said something like as long as the email is sent with intent to buy and agreed by all parties then you don't have to have a fax rolled off the FA machine by 2300hrs. Another myth exploded?

As we all know, if there is a loophole or a way around FA rules then Sam is the man to ask.JohnMac wrote:He said Netflix were filming all day and it would probably be shown if they release the follow up series.

No doubt a hefty sum was involved for him to appear on Sky last night. I wonder if he declared the Pizza as it should come under a 'Gift in Kind'

Watched the documentary, it was very good, heavily edited but aren't they all. Never met a bad Sunderland fan yet and they all seem to love Burnleytheroyaldyche wrote:Ther doin a season 2 hoping they get promoted
