Scores below (I don’t normally bother)

A - 5
B - 5
C - 15
D - 5

Comedy scores

A - rsehole
B - ald
C - #nt
D - ickhead

This ref made me use the C expletive, which is something I really try not to use in public because of the offence it causes. Terrible ref

I guess Taylor and Moss will be meeting up tonight for a drink to celebrate the 4 points they took from little old Burnley....

I think Tim Noone should be able to explain his comment - please quote chapter and verse to back up that sentence.

I wonder what his punishment will be for such obvious errors. Let’s wait and see.

Set the scene when he lets Ings wipe out Heaton and theb2 foot challenge on Taylor go without a yellow, or soI thought. He then just went onto being awful

Ings on Heaton was just momentum and unfortunate in my opinion. Heaton doesnt seem bothered by it. The challenge on Taylor i thought was shocking at the time and after watching again it is absolutely astounding how that is not a yellow card. Must be one of those where they won't book a player with it being deemed too early in the game but there is no way he can let him get away with that no matter time of the game it is. Awful.

Agree, but how often do you see free kicks because someone touched the keeper?

Fine if you don’t book, but then you can’t book for anything less for the rest of the gsme- that rule soon changed

He even stuffed up his own stuff up. Having booked Barnes for diving, then surely by his own logic he should’ve sent him off for foul and abusive language? Complete arse wipe.

How bizarre that we should get our first penalty in ages from such an inept, incompetent and at times farcical referee.

A.10
B. 5
C. 20
D. 15

And why didn’t he book Taylor in the 2nd half if he thought he had dived? Awful ref. Still sky will be blowing smoke up his backside in the next ‘big’ game he does.

Anthony Taylor ruined that game for me. I try not to "go off on one" during the game but, Anthony Taylor, you'd make a ******* Saint swear!

Football matches should not be about the Ref, this one has become just that. Shame!

No wonder people are moving away from The Beautiful Game!

Or book Taylor for his swan dive 2nd half.

Lost it in the first 15 minutes, and never got it back

I’ve not seen that one, I’ve only watched the 5 minute highlights.

It was laughable, and he'd beaten his man and took him out of the game.
Possibly he over ran it, but it's a booking all day long.
He tried to hoodwink the ref.

Seen some shocking refs at the Turf over the years, but this clown set a new level of incompetence, which at times looked like he needed investigating for some illegal betting scam. Wouldn't be surprised if he's a few grand richer this morning.
