She can still belt out a tune, in her 70s, can Gladys.
Evening, folks.
Just popped a can. But could well pour a single malt later.

Watched a few superbowls and kinda' sorta' understand it (just about) - at least enough to enjoy it - but watched a playoff game (New Orleans, I think) where the game ended before the clock counted down to 0.00 in the fourth quarter. Seemed to end with about a minute to spare. What's going on there? Is the leading team using a time out to run down the clock and seal the win? (Pardon my ignorance.)

I would imagine it’s more confusing when the tight end and wide receiver get together.” Lube or no lube”………that is the question.

Aerstone Land Cask .
Not tried it before. Only had Aerstone sea cask previously. And that wasn't my favourite.

Probably watch the first half before submitting to tiredness and googling the result in the morning as I do every year.

As a Jags fan I'm a little less bitter about NE being in the Superbowl this year than last.

Spiral it will probably be the leading team kneeling as they have a certain amount of time to make a play. If you kneel you don't have to make a play and can run down the clock.

Defences winning out at the moment. Also expected a high scoring game but plenty of time yet for that!

Good point there from the commentator about the Rams defence being on the field too long and that they'll likely tire out.

Very! Sadly no touchdowns as yet but an interesting match all the same. I can't help but wish the Saints and Chiefs had made it to the Superbowl. Enjoyed watching those teams this season. Mahomes was fantastic for the Chiefs.

Rams offence has to step up and Goff needs to be quicker in his decisions. Easier said than done I know, as Patriots are playing him well.

Yeah, Goff has been poor so far. However, he's young. Hopefully he'll learn...fast! Have the feeling the Patriots are just going to break down the Rams sooner or later.

said I wasn't going to watch it - yet here I am - decent defensive game but the Offense has been pretty poor - particularly the Rams

My loathing of the ht show has just found greater depths (thought it was impossible) this has to be the worst ever

and half time.......

Shat band choreographed paid audience by stage etc etc

Fast forward to 2030 and to The Champions League Play Off Final ... 4 quarters, constant replays, breaks in play and VAR, more ad's and then the not so Little Mix at half time.

Can't wait.

Black Eyed Peas was by far the worst. That was awful. Seen both JT and Maroon 5 and both far better than their Superbowl performances. They try and fit too much in and create something visual rather than concentrate on the music and it can turn into a train wreck.

To expand on previous reply.
They have 35secs to “get off” the next play. If there is less than 35 secs left on play clock they all shake hands. Game over.
The play clock is on the bottom of the screen next to the game clock. As soon as a play ends it reverts to 35.
Two fantastic defences and Pats could rue not being further in front.
