I’m too dim to know how to attach it on here, but Jon could want to study carefully the photo that Ursula Von Der Leyen has tweeted of her and her 27 all-white commissioners, which looks very similar to Junckers and his earlier photos of the last batch of 28 all-white commissioners. The big group of MEPs doesn’t have many either, and the few that there are, most are British. No person of colour has ever held high office in the EU.

They have even had the nerve to give their top migration official the title “Protecting the European way of life”. By which of course they mean white European.

The Brexit Party in particular, and Brexit voters in general, have called time on our place in this dodgy cabal, while remaining happy to have limited migration where it benefits us. Please don’t imply we are the racist ones. Perhaps look closer to home - the Lib Dem’s had to rely on Chukka defecting to get their first person of colour in the chamber, the SNP have none out of 35. Yet they have the nerve to falsely accuse the Tories of right wing behaviour. Rank hypocrisy.

I don’t think there was a “Brexit Party = racist debate” as such, it was just Lowbank going off on one and rightly getting called out on it.

To call everyone in the BP a racist would be jut as unacceptable as accusing every Eastern European of eating his fish.

Obviously not all Polish people steal fish but if you go and walk around any lake in the country where there's fisherman, the first thing they mention are Eastern Europeans have eaten most of the fish.

It's cultural for them, they eat what they catch.

But it's no surprise when we bring low paid workers over here and it's a free meal. Is it?

I think Johnson's only realistic option is to back down and start over (or resign), but given the contempt he's displayed toward the spirit (if not the laws) of our system and institutions would it surprise you if he becomes more extreme?

Surely the second “likely outcome” is incredibly unlikely? How can there be a commons majority for no-deal when the majority voted to pass a bill to prevent it?

It would seem unlikely. I think we’re down to two options really, a deal getting through the commons or Johnson resigning.

He's backtracking very quickly on removing the whip. He wants the 21 MP's back on side.

I think the majority of the 21 would vote for a deal anyway. Many of them voted consistently for May’s deal and have therefore voted to leave the EU more times than the PM and some of his cabinet.

They haven't left themselves much option but to vote for a deal, given their vociferous stance against no deal, but most of the so-called rebels represent the pragmatic wing of the Tory party, not the extreme idiots advocating a crash-out.

I heard an interesting stat the other day (although I don't know the original source).

At the time of the Brexit vote the age demographic tipping point between leave and remain was 45. According to polling that is now 52. I would have expected it to increase but not by that much.

Explains why Farage was in the North East this week, that area has potential for the BP,the Tories and Lib Dems are pretty weak, and it's a heavily leave voting region.

Also it was the BP''S biggest % vote in the European Elections,Hartlepool will certainly be one of their target seats amongst others.

I think there is a big chance in Burnley to.

Julie is not very popular.

Was it 66.6% voted to leave.

I think we have a good local Brexit candidate.

True but that's a big IF with the current make-up of parliament, and the way present talks are unfolding,to get a deal through the HOC Boris will need a number of Labour MP'S to vote for it,some might in heavy leave voting seats, but whether enough will take the plunge is questionable.

60.9% leave vote in Peterborough, and Lab in the middle of a huge anti-semitism crisis and had picked the last MP who tried to hide breaking the law.

Result?

Lab hold and Farage escaping through a toilet window rather than face the press.

After the car crash of a visit to Yorkshire today I think it's safe to say the idea that Dominic Cummings has, to take quite a few seats from Labour in their heartlands, is now dead in the water.

There is no way the Tories can win by a big margin as a result!

Well, if we're going all conspiracy theory then the Brexit Party is definitely financed by the Russians with the aim of destabilising the UK and the EU so Russia can annex it.

Depends on the deal.

Many people worry Boris will get a watered down May’s deal .

Then he will probably be forced into a 2nd ref.

Q1. Leave with the Boris **** deal.

Q2 Remain.

Remain would probably win as its effectively staying in but as 2nd class members paying just as much and getting nothing back.

Brexit Party would grow under that scenario.

That’s the outcome I see coming.

Interestingly, the older living generations may be more pro-EU.

The theory seems to be that having lived through the war they value the principles of unity more (obviously that doesn't stop people who didn't fight in WWII attempting to claim that those who fought in WWII would be disgusted at the EU or that we {not actually the people saying it of course} survived two world wars so we can survive Brexit).

But postal votes need to be banned.

I believe Labour want a second referendum and if you voted leave in the first one, you're not allowed to vote in the second one :o

One thing I will say for you Brexit supporters, you are certainly consistent in your use of "alternative facts"

Well people clammed they had burnt Brexit votes.
Care workers claimed they had filled in postal votes for people in their care.

The police got involved but said no proof.

I understand your position.
Labour won, we don’t care we cheated, winning is what counts. Normal communists.

No just so open to cheating.

You should also have to provide ID at the polling station.
