So what?

Plenty of players will be playing this weekend and pocking up thousands of pounds for missing absolute sitters.

As old Mr. Grace used to say in 'Are You Being Served' 'Carry on, you're all doing very well.'

It'll be interesting to see the penalty Mo Salah inevitably gets. I can't imagine he'll be getting booked for simulation if Bournemouth's keeper decides to wipe him out in the box.

Is this the same group of officials who were at Turf Moor last Saturday? Do the officials tend to work "as a team" or are they mixed and matched per game?

Don't know but they certainly didn't work "as a team" on Saturday.

Don't know about the 4th official but the refs always appear to have the same linos.

So they get to now each other's game?

Same ref and assistants but the 4th official at the Turf was Martin Atkinson

So the powers that be must have thought they had a good game then !!
Or perhaps they just don't give a toss.

That makes the whole thing worse in my view. They should know and trust each other inside out.

I suppose it's to help them get on. If (as I believe) it was the linesman who told Taylor that it was a dive, then Taylor might watch the TV and realise that the linesman has made Taylor look a total prat, and by the time they meet again Taylor might be feeling a bit sore. Whereas this way, they have to get on or else work would be unbearable.
