I was on a course last week and you had to do the usual introductions at the beginning. I managed to slip in my Claret allegiance only for a bloke to say my brother in law played for Burnley. You got it, Mark Randall was his brother in law.

Arrived with a great future in front of him but never showed us anything special.

As mentioned above. Great things were expected of him by Arsenal. Was surprised how unimpressive he was for us but just put it down to not being interested at being at little Burnley at the time. To be honest I had no idea what had happened to him, which shows I'm not the general football fan I was as a youngster. Hope he can find his feet soon he's running out of time.

I remember Coyle saying he'd been the star of the show in the FA Youth Cup game against them a couple of weeks earlier but he wasn't, dare I say that Henri Lansbury stood out by a mile that night.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:Another in a long line of absolute bobbins loan players!
When he was with us, he looked physically nowhere near ready, so we gave him two starts, both in away games and against teams managed by Pulis and Warnock. He looked poor for us and his career since has hardly suggested he improved much.
