How many to Brighton?

Post by Paul Waine » Fri Feb 08, 2019 1:05 pm

How many Clarets will be at Amex for 5:30 pm ko tomorrow?

I'm looking forward to the game. Making the short journey from London - with a free transport pass from somewhere on the outskirts of Brighton.

I'll be there with 40+ Accy Clarets on the coach plus a few who have gone down for the weekend.

Well add one on to the figure announced, as I've been lent a season ticket in the home end for the game.

Count me in, altho the relatively easy train out of Victoria is a little less easy. Also my cousin ‘The Hat’ as I owe him a drink after persuading him to go to Man U. Loved the match but flying back was stuck on a stationary (on the ground) aircraft for 5 hours because of ice and snow

You are aware there's engineering works on that line tomorrow?
There's a direct train from Vic via Littlehampton (2hrs)

Thanks, Cockney. Yes, looks like replacement bus service from Three Bridges. I think I'll be a lot quicker driving.

Think we only asked for 950 tickets so would expect the majority of those to have been sold.

I have my ticket. Lunch with my pal, who lives near Steyning, then I'm off to the match, via Lewes.

Enjoy your day out guys, but remember no booing: you don't want to upset the Holy than Thou, Chris Hughton.

With it being pay on the day for both sets of supporters I reckon 600 or so from us. A long way to go when it's on telly.

Great support from anyone who makes the long trip down.

We took an allocation of 986, and considering the it’s on TV all the way down in Brighton at tea time on a Saturday that was realistic,
