Man City vs Chelsea

Post by FactualFrank » Sun Feb 10, 2019 4:21 pm

A belter from Aguero and currently battering Chelsea 3-0. A good game so far after 20 minutes!

4-0. Embarrassing stuff from Chelsea, regardless of how good City are.

Agüero misses a sitter at 1-0, then scores a stunner and then a close range effort.

4-0 after 24 mins. City are just too good when they playing like this.

I bet Chelsea are looking forward to the League Cup final or whatever it's called now.

Nah, we’d have beaten them if we played Ben Mee and Ashley Westwood.

Chelsea are poor undoubtedly. But I’m never so sure what you can do when City play like this.

They’re unstoppable when they’re in this kind of mood. Chelsea have a real soft belly though and our fixture at Stamford Bridge doesn’t worry me as much as it did earlier in the season.

If I were Chelsea I’d get the bus parked right now to keep the score down. Pointless trying to get back into it.

They just make decisions and move the ball so quickly, the speed of their movement.
Opposing sides are baffled.

Newcastle had good tactics. Try and stay in the game for as long as you can and deny them space.

It’s sad to see a good club like Chelsea being destroyed by Man City, whose success has been funded by billionaire owners from overseas.

Sarri isn't the right manager for Chelsea, but they also need a clear out in the playing staff, starting with Hazard.

Impressive stuff by City though.

Sarri is a manager who has never won a trophy in his entire career and is wedded to a system (and a player) that has been exposed badly several times this season.

Can say well it’s City but remember they got battered by Bournemouth the other week. Chelsea should bin Sarri now - still a chance of winning the EL.

Getting interesting now with Liverpool still in the driving seat, but the suspicion is that will all change after their next game at Old Trafford.

If City fail to win it they'll look back on that brief barren spell when they became ever so slightly complacent. They are easily the best team in the League with Man United (in their current state) a remote second.

I don't think even Man United fans rate their current side over Liverpools.

Can't stand Chelsea. Watching the ultimate Plastic side and fans getting thumped like this is brilliant.

I feel your dislike of Liverpool may have clouded your judgement. I do agree that Man City are the best side, but Liverpool are comfortably second.

Be interesting to see how the bookies price up the next game at Old Trafford, but it would come as no surprise to see United emerge as winners.
