Flight home from Cruise.....

Just emailed Virgin Atlantic and filled out claims form for Flight delay compensation.

Arrived on the transfer from the Ship to Dubai Airport on Saturday 9.30am to see the cowls up on the Portside inner engine :( Flight was delayed as parts not available within the time frame and the crew would be unable to fly us back due to hours etc...
So at 9pm we were told we were being taken back into Dubai to a Hotel... and would be returning yesterday Morning to Fly home.

Bonus was we got to the Hotel and I watched BHA v The Mighty Clarets on TV in the bar.......

9am back at Dubai Airport Yesterday were told the plane had been repaired and took off at 1.45 local time. Arrived home last night abso-bloody-lutely bloody knackered....

Hoping to get compo (have been told it could be €1200 but will see)

First its omelettes on the cruise
Then its compensation after the cruise

Anybody not know Bosscat was on a cruise?? :) :) :)

I was just getting the impression he might have been on a cruise! I wonder if he also [picked up a 4K watch in Duty Free??? :)

Everybody wants a compensation payment these days. Fake food poisoning, whip lash....money for nothing. You got an extra night in a Dubai hotel...what’s the problem? :x

I got a phone call yesterday and the lady asked, "Have you been involved in an accident that wasn't your fault?"
