Blackpool FC
Placed in receivership.
Re: Blackpool FC
Well done to them, their fans have been brilliant throughout this. Protests, boycotts, anything to interrupt games and get the message across. That’s how you make point.
Back when Blackburn actually wanted Venkys out the sum total of their efforts was a chicken on the pitch. Makes you think.

The Odious (allegedly) Oystons out!
Isn't the older one a convicted rapist?
Bet there'll be some happy people Blackpool way.
Good luck to them. They're getting their club back.
It's about time too.

One occasion where the docking of points should be left in abeyance. The former vice chairman is going to fund the club until new owners are found. I think the Oystons still owe him £25 million

Re: Blackpool FC
Wonderful news for the Pool. If they lose the 12 pts every chance they will still stay up.
My owd mate Afroman was more than likely in London for the hearing, he will be celabrating big time tonight.
He has spent the last 30 odd years fighting the Oystons

Re: Blackpool FC
I agree with Mdd2 above. The club should not suffer because of these two self serving buffoons. This is a personal debt between the Oystons and Belekon. The club are being used by the courts to settle the debt. There is no call for the EFL to step in and I hope that is how they see it.

Agreed. The Recievers are running the club with a view to finding a buyer. Blackpool aren't in debt.
It's just the way of forcing the horrible Oysters to comply with the court orders. They've been sticking two fingers up at the legal judgements against them long enough.
Docking Blackpool points would be pretty unfair.
Think most would agree that their fans have suffered enough under that lot.

Re: Blackpool FC
All credit to the Blackpool fans. Nothing changed for them when they won a promotion, they just continued with their campaign to rid the club of the Oyston family and this looks to be the beginning of the end for them.

Re: Blackpool FC
I love Blackpool fans. They have behaved brilliantly through all of this and deserve better. They don't have the biggest fan base but their away support has always been fantastic considering home gates. They are a loyal bunch. Hope they come through this all the better.

This saga just keeps on going. Karl Oyston now suing the club (his father) over wages.

I thought it was strange when the sister took over. Although I believe son is ill.
A last twist to get more money out. Praying the receiver fecks them off.
