if you read the links you would understand - the losses are within FFP because the owners put another £14m into the club and converted it to equity (shares)

The EFL statement on the judgement

The full judgement

now we know why harry came out in the press like he did - the club effectively blames him and Zola, even though it was them that signed the deals

also had a point penalty reduced for admitting the breach early

There are stories emerging that Birmingham City must make a £7.5m profit in the current financial year (so they do not breach the rolling £39m in 3 years loss) or they will be hit with further charges for breaches of FFP next season - I struggle to see how that is possible given the lack of sales and existing contracts in place - I believe that is why the League and Championship clubs were so angry when they refused to sell Che Adams

In all fairness Blackburn were in no danger of exceeding P&S limits of £39m during this three year period.

They had Losses of £3.2m and £16.4m in years '17 & '18 therefore only a projected Loss of over £20m for this current season would have put them in danger. As it's their first season back in the Championship the Loss will be nowhere near that figure, so they can basically breathe easy for another year.

Brum refusing to sell Adams to basically anyone (not just us) in January for a fair price smacks of either ignorance, arrogance or a deliberate f*** you attitude and I hope they are coming to seriously regret it.

Just seen a post on Facebook from a Villa fan saying that even on a week with no game they can still drop points :D
