It does have a ring to it though.ClaretAndJew wrote:Sleeper Jihadi babies has to be the best thing I've ever read.
M: Bond, we believe there is a nest of sleeper jihadi babies somewhere in Bradford, you need to go in and find them.
Bond: Certainly Sir, do we have any idea what they look like?
M: Well 007, we think they will be quite small and they sleep a lot.
Bond: Anything else Sir? It's not much to go on.
M: Not really 007 but the good thing is you have about 15 years to find them before they go off.
Bond: Very good Sir, I'll do my best.

Just come back from Sainsburys, where a lady, the cashier, and I were discussing the very same .... all three agreement with the consensus on here. After the lady customer left, I was advised she was Peter Pike's daughter ... typically, there's an article on the Guardian's website arguing for her safe return ...Pimlico_Claret wrote:Blimey, so far a topic down to post 48 with everyone in agreement, is this a first?
Irrespective of your politics, if your partner/son/daughter etc. worked at the Foreign Office, would you want them sent out to the last ISIS stronghold to try and ensure this woman's safe passage back to the UK ? Thought not !

How many psychiatrists will it take to re-educate her while ex-soldiers are struggling with daily life and living on the streets?

But if she comes back (and she is), then you have to re-educate her.
I'd certainly want to do a massive background check on what she's got up to Syria (apart from being a baby factory of course!) and I'd be amazed if she comes out of that clean.

On a more serious note there’s no way she should be let back in, need to make a stand against people taking the uk for a soft touch. She has been supporting terrorism directly and indirectly, think about it

Re: O/T I want to come home
Of course, it is possible that your average peace-loving Syrian doesn’t much want to feed, clothe and house a foreign born extremist. Perhaps they’d prefer these people to leave their country and go ‘home’?
Do we have some sort of responsibility here? Or do we tell Syria it’s their problem and we’re not interested in helping?
I have zero sympathy for the individual involved and have no doubt that whatever happens, they’ll rightly have a miserable existence.

Yes there is.
I would imagine you are as surprised as me we haven't had it yet.... well - not directly. You can read between the lines of one or two posts and see there are those desperate to forgive and make excuses.
Of course, you KNOW the `minute` I suggested was just a figure of speech right?
Funky has it right.... nothing good will come of letting ANY of these lunatics back into this country.

We haven't dumped her. She went voluntarily.
Re: O/T I want to come home
Problem is, when she is allowed back in none of us will ever know. They will bury the story over brexit weekend as she lands back in blighty on a private plane with kid in tow on 28th March.

The news channels and papers are seeking her out....idiots.
Re: O/T I want to come home
Hardly a "win win"...expensive trial and then the British tax payer picks up the bill for her incarceration.Falcon wrote:Bring her back to have the child, stick her in jail on terrorist offences, then take the baby into care.
We get justice for her crimes and the baby doesn't grow up to be an IS fighter. Win win.
The British tax payer also picks up the bill for the birth and the on going costs of Social Services whilst the child is put in care, no doubt with an Immigration Lawyer breathing down social workers necks and ensuring the child is brought up in an appropriate Muslim upbringing.
She'll be out of prison in eight years to spout her arrogant Islamic diatribe....definitely a lose lose lose.
This is one where Britain and its politicians need to grow balls and say NO.
It should however be pointed out that a couple of hundred Islamic terrorists have returned quietly to the UK....and our Government has quietly swept the situation under the carpet.

I don't feel that the UK should ever wash its hand of its responsibilities, however, this is now a Syrian legal issue. She entered their country illegally and voluntarily joined the Islamic State. This much we do indeed know.

Just to play devils advocate imagine if this was a white British girl who had been groomed by Asian men to believe their warp views.
Then she wants to return home. Would we all say no?
Personally I think she shouldn’t be aloud back but it’s worth considering this other view on the situation

Was she groomed though? Actively seeking Isis propaganda out on the Internet, allowing yourself to be radicalised by it and then acting upon it, isn't grooming. Well not in my book, at least. Most people would be appalled by what they had found out about this death cult and would run a mile, not run to them.

I've listened to various phone ins today and they've been filled with bleeding heart liberals. They're saying, despite showing zero remorse, and admitting she only actually wants to return to the West , cos the caliphate has fallen. She should be allowed back into this country. Despite any increased terrorist threat it may bring.
They're like the guy continuing to feed the crocodile hoping it eats him last.
