Leeds v Swansea last night...
Went to the game last night. First time at Elland Road...impressive atmosphere. Can't see Leeds finishing outside the top 2 now.
Couple of things stay in the memory. The way they incessantly sing 'we are the champions, champions of Europe'. they've never won the Champions League but still feel aggrieved about a disallowed goal in one final and a dodgy ref in another. I'm not sure if they were doing it ironically. Bizarre to see and hear
Got chatting to a Leeds fan (about 50 years old). As soon as I said I'm a Burnley fan he lost the plot. 'you've ruined my night. Why aren't you watching Burnley tonight' 'you've never filled the away end, we always fill it at Turf Moor' 'we'll always be a bigger club than you'. He was spitting feathers.
Bizarre characters !

Have been to Elland road a few times and have never heard them singing "We are Champions, Champions of Europe" ??? "Hating Man Utd" and "Marching on together" but not that

Spent 120 minutes telling everyone how Burnley were Sh!te and wouldn’t get 10 points all season (we finished 7th) and how we’d be swopping league places! After they won on penalty’s he took off his jacket and started banging his Leeds shirt shouting ‘Leeds, Leeds, Leeds’ I was close to getting myself a ban that night and can only hope somebody gave him a clip when he left the ground.
Burnley fans can’t wear football shirts in the corporate areas, which is completely understandable, yet I’ve seen at least 4-5 away fans wearing them

You should have give him the renowned fact that Norman Hunter ruined Frank Caspers Career and ruined a decade for us not the fact we cant fill an away end at 50 pounds a ticket they will never change their brand name of dirty Leeds its a stain they will never get rid of

I do like the fact that their club shops sells loads of buckets. Same as the ones Bielsa-bun keeps sitting on in front of the dugout!

It's hard to talk to Leeds fans about football. They just want to talk away followings and singing songs.
