Leeds, Carlisle or Isle of Man.

Now I'm going to stick my foot through the laptop.

Mine was a large triangulated area between Blackpool Leeds and Manchester .... I suppose that covers Rossendale.

Cough. What's wrong with the Isle of Man?

Well, good on the NY Times acknowledging there’s a world beyond US borders. The Chattanooga Times may dispute this.

Blackpool for me. The colour map was pretty spot on however they are missing a very important question...

Do you pronounce 'car' as 1) cahhh or 2) carrrr

Being from Accy that would separate me from you mashers and thick necks, albeit lump me in with the horse botherers, where linguistically only, I belong.

Didn’t work for me.
It said Old Street, Rossendale. Number 14. But I was brought up in number 16.

100% Burnley. Dark red area between Blackpool, Leeds and Manchester. Underpants was THE most defining choice I made, it said.

Pretty close for me as it has me living in Dover which is 31 miles from Herne Bay. Shame I lost my Northern accent - I was 6 when we moved to Kent 51 years ago !

It seems a few of us got Blackpool. Strange as I've lived in West Yorkshire for 5 years. I expected it to be east of Burnley not west!
