Zaha banned for an extra game after sarcastically applauding the ref. However, by appealing he to got play, and score a vital equaliser in the PL. He now misses a Cup game against Doncaster which he probably wouldn’t have been risked in anyway. Joke.

Taking the Real Madrid approach i see https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47259541 Real have past form for dubious yellow cards in the Champions League,and this could come back to bite them in the rear if UEFA has any gumption.

I thought they were making the cards competition specific? Cards in the league only resulted in missing league games, likewise in the cup. Thought this was done to prevent players missing FACup semis & finals?
