Spurs game in Prague

Post by claretcarrot93 » Mon Feb 18, 2019 12:33 pm

Any recommendations of where to watch the Spurs game in Prague.

Also what to do/see in Prague generally.

Cheers

Probably one for Zizkov this one, our Prague correspondent.
Around 15 yrs since I was last there, undoubtedly changed since then.

Let me check for you. Will generally depend on if it clashes with rugby.

Otherwise let me know more about your group so i can advise. Last ones who came over left a pub because they didnt serve southern comfort! :o

I was in Prague recently and watched the Man Utd game in Dubliners bar.
Good chance they will show it.

Remember you said about the UFC event at the O2 arena. One tip for that i would say is get there early and dont take any bags with you, its basically airport security to get in so it can take a little longer than you might expect. Beers cheap enough once you get in too so dont feel you need to pre-drink too much like you might for the MEN Arena

Also download uber if you havent already got it (promo code brdihu for 100kc off your first). the trams and metro are great but it can be a bit hectic after a big event

We watched the Brighton game in the Lion and Ball. It was heaving. Probably pants down prices but I can’t remember tbh.

Liona and Ball will switch the game off as soon as any rugby types come in, its also a rip off
Hooters can be very limited in terms of which channels they have

If you have a few too many in the James Joyce do you have a stream of unconsciousness?

You have been to Dubai? Usually people who go them sorts of places mention it all the time and drop it in during any conversation whether relivant or not.

Was it any good?

OK for a visit and see how they live and have turned a desert into a modern city but.......
It feels plastic and wrong on so many levels* and completely at odds with their culture.

* loads of levels   if you go up the Burj Khalifa ;) (we did and it is amazing to see but) ..... we wouldn't rush back to stay in Dubai for a holiday. Many do but its not for us
