Will last weekends break upset our momentum ?

Post by bfcjg » Tue Feb 19, 2019 12:28 pm

I hope not, after the win at Brighton I really think we are on a roll now, however as has been shown in the past a break can be a hindrance to a form team.

Yes always a worry for me as well and of course would have been a tough game anyway, is Kane back yet as I haven’t been keeping tabs on their team?

But this is a game with less pressure. I'm in no doubt we'll see another strong performance, whether it will be enough to take something from Spurs I'm not sure.

Playing a very good Spurs team will be more of a factor in breaking our momentum than having a few days well earned recovery time. I think we had a good run last season following a mid-season getaway.

I don't think we have a momentum. We've improved because our starting 11 has improved. Heaton, Bardsley, McNeil et al have come in and improved our starting 11. This is why we're winning.

No, because momentum doesn't exist in this context.

I might be in the minority but I'm not worried. Apart from Manchester City we can beat any team in this division. We should have beat Man U and the stats only suggest otherwise because we sat back and invited them to come at us, once we were leading.

Only one thing can ruin us... an injury.
