Jadon Sancho - on his way to Man U?

Post by DustyBawls » Tue Feb 19, 2019 5:28 pm

Reports he's on his way back to England in the summer - to Manchester United.

The fee? over £100 million and be the biggest fee that's ever been paid for an English player. Also had ex-pros saying he's going to turn out to be the best player in the world.

Good for England. But reckon we should go in for him ;)

Can’t see that. Every good player gets linked with United.

Right now he's better off staying abroad, as proven by going abroad in the first place.

If he carries on developing as he is then he will have his pick of clubs across Europe.

ManU need to spend many millions on their defence before they sign this lad however good he may become.

Should have been given a chance by Guardiola. Did he really need to go and spend 60 million on Mahrez when he had Sancho already at the club?

One of the reasons why Guardiola is succesful is because he doesn't give youth a chance. He makes sure his managerial career is at it's best by playing the besy players now. And spending millions to achieve it.

Young players need to be playing 40+ games a year. He’d never have got that at City and never get it at Utd either.

Foden, what’s he doing? 10 mins here and there. A cup game, 2 goals back to the bench. Consistent game time again and again and again is what’s needed.

“But he learns so much training with the best”. ********. You can’t compare training to the pressures of a first team match.

Thank god Lennon got injured or else we might never have seen McNeil progress like we have.

Back to Sancho and he needs to see out his contract there IMO.

In all fairness Mahrez gives Guardiola something different.

Mahrez has a proven track record of sulking, downing tools and trying to get managers fired.

Sancho doesn't so he had to go.

But he probably would have got it at Watford, which is where he was before City signed him.

Our youth academy has been more successful than City's.

That's ********. At Barcelona he shipped out the likes of ronaldinho, deco, etoo and brought in youth talent like busquets, thiago, Pedro etc.

Sancho has been outstanding for BVB this season. If he's as good as he looks then the Etihad is the only place in England he'll be heading.

Why would he want to go back to City when the whole point of him leaving was to play regularly?
