I was genuinely asking if you saw the episode. I'm siding with you, as I also love Red Dwarf. It's hilarious.

Yes the last ever series, good call to go out while still on form, too many shows persist when the scripts and acting aren't top notch anymore.conyoviejo wrote:Still game... Last ever series starts this Sunday at 9pm on the new Scottish BBC channel.
Couple of 90's classics for me.

I tend to agree with your first two lines KR, and I forgot to mention Steven Wright the American comedian earlier.

Porridge (original Ronnie Barker series, not the remake), Red Dwarf, all the Blackadder series bar the 1st one, Men Behaving Badly and both of Mock the Week and Have I Got News For You.
Re: What makes you laugh?
Family Guy
Re: What makes you laugh?
I "liked" for this bit. Thankfully, nobody I know can stand Mrs. Brown's Boys, but that seems to be of a similar standard.KateR wrote:

My former "office wife" told me that the thing with the Griswolds was her favourite Christmas film of all time, so I bought her "Bad Santa" for the following Christmas. I have no idea why she thought that anything that had Billy Bob Thornton in it was suitable for her up-tight mother, but she put it on for Boxing day with her family, and I never heard the last of it. I don't think they got past the scene in the photo-booth............
I find that headphones works, but it just looks a bit rude.................

What is more strange is because I don't laugh at what they are watching as per the 2 lines they have branded me as having no sense of humour, which of course I totally disagree with, maybe opened a can of worms with that statement though

Not sure of the point of Mrs Brown's boys.
Apart from a bloke dressing up as a woman, there is nothing more to it. That doesn't make it funny.
