relationship advice

Post by fatboy47 » Thu Feb 21, 2019 12:46 pm

Paul Simon had it as 50 ways to bring about an end to that tricky relationship that had dragged on for too long, or maybe taken a turn in an unwanted direction (marriage/living together/obsession etc)
In my long gone youth, being a sensitive and tactful young man, this was an area I struggled with...lacking the worldly wisdom or simply the gonads to get the job done..leaving me floundering often for weeks and months until the message finally got through.
Do any of the sages on here have any foolproof methods of seeing off the assorted trollopses you may find sharing a Sunday morning pillow after a bit of Saturday night sport?..or the clingy fat girl from your office who got the wrong idea after you did a pub meal and sympathy romp night for her?

I'm thinking quick and humane here...not looking at the old Cleveland Steamer aka Boston Pancake treatment...we can leave that for the students....or the ""its not you, its me line"" which simply doesnt wash with todays assertive woman...any advice or ideas welcome..

Asking for a friend.

I'm interested too... for a friend who "lost" 20+ years of his life married to the one he couldn't dump... He's all good now after a messy divorce a long time ago, but just in case he needs the advice again... ;)

I once woke up and told a girl I had a paper round so had to go as I was already late - got dressed in a hurry and made my exit before she could properly say anything............ I was about 23 years old

Got a mate who was stopped by the police climbing out of a window because they thought he was trying to get in too

In the cutting off serious ties I’ve always found it’s not the actual “this isn’t working out” bit has never been too difficult for myself - It’s the bit that follows when you have to just pull away and stay away, not getting drawn back in with the lure of “shall we ‘watch a film’” then being back where you started before you know it.

It's the break up sex where they get you.

maybe we should have posts like this with warnings, "Man Thread only, enter at your peril"

similar to the political threads space, I mean once entered and read it's difficult to get out of your mind and clearly it's like a horror movie and watching between fingers because you just want to know what did they reply!

Failing that try calling out the wrong name at an inappropriate moment, she just might leave you.

Start a thread on here, make sure she knows your username, leave the laptop open and tell her not to read it as you leave the room.

She'd have probably got rid anyway when she realised you were a 23 year old paperboy...

Bucking bronco sex.
Get her on her knees, get in, get a good handful of hair, whisper, lovingly in her ear, “your sister is a better screw than you.” And your off to the races.
She’ll not hang around long after.

Have you tried the "Diazipam and sink full of Luke warm water" trick like you do with your cats?

Send her a text lol . And remember this Paul Simon sdvice -

You just slip out the back, Jack
Make a new plan, Stan
You don’t need to be coy, Roy
Just get yourself free
Hop on the bus, Gus
You don’t need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, Lee
And get yourself free”

Back in the days of my callow youth, I would, post coitus, lean towards the young lady in question and remark, “In this light, you look just like Jon Pertwee.”

That usually did the trick.

These days you would get a blank look better off trying
“In this light, you look just like Anne Heggarty.”
