Poor old Warnock
Thing is, this Cardiff team should be dead and buried but they have confidence.
A 4-0 shallacking from a Watford side will seriously dent that.

Watford taking no prisoners tonight. Shows what they can do when all their talent decide to play football at the same time.

Shows how well we've been playing as well in that we were the better side at Vicarage road.CombatClaret wrote:Watford taking no prisoners tonight. Shows what they can do when all their talent decide to play football at the same time.

I’ve just checked the league table and it’s now mathematically impossible for them to pick up enough points to avoid relegation because they’re shite.Bigvince wrote:I can’t ever remember a club being relegated in February,I hope you’re right tho

Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
Superb night for us.
Both of those games were winnable for Cardiff and Fulham. Fulham had to win that one really.
As bfcjg says, a win tomorrow and we are looking very nicely indeed. Hell, even a point is a great result.

Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
Cardiff were absolutely terrible. And that'll leave their remaining confidence all shot to sh1t.
Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
Excellent results tonight for the Clarets. The two sides most likely to go down with Hudds have been beaten soundly by mid table sides.
Any respectable score would be ok. But a result would be top class.

I would be very happy with a garbage nil apiece draw tomorrow. But you never know, we may just surprise the Spurs.

Every time I think Cardiff are gonners they seem to get the kiss of life from somewhere. Let's just hope this drubbing is finally terminal.

Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
Watched Fulham tonight and there was nothing there to suggest they are going to mount a big rescue act. They and Huddersfield are all but gone and I do think Cardiff will go with them. When Cardiff won two weeks ago it put pressure on us at Brighton, at least that pressure isn't there tomorrow for one of the toughest games we have left.
Don't think we could have asked for more tonight from those two games.

Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
Both tonight’s results were perfect for us. Considering Huddersfield are gone, Fulham not far behind them and Cardiff taking a major hit to their goals against, it’s getting tight as to who joins those two for the drop.
Obviously our goals against is an issue, thanks to shipping mega goals earlier in the season. A one goal deficit or sneaking a point against Spurs tomorrow would go a long way. Newcastle Tuesday is huge!

Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
It is hugely unfortunate but now that the funeral has happened Cardiff’s energy was always likely to wane, it is too much of a load to bear. Normally it is the manager who stays buoyant in a relegation battle but Colin has confessed to being knackered.
I feel for them but this is top level football not tiddlywinks, and their opponents aren’t going to go easy on them. I cannot see them staying up.

If Udders could stop flatlining, just for a day and get something at Newcastle it would actually really help us.

They could well do that.
Re: Cardiff v Watford & West Ham v Fulham
We've performed under pressure for the past 5 or so weeks hopefully that doesn't relax us too much as we need to be bang at it against a strong spurs side.
