It's so the pundits can talk more about Pochettino.

Also produce a heat map of Kane's movement upon his triumphant return. As always, we won't have played well but
they will have been below par.

Hope I'm wrong.

Was Pochetino complaining about the 4th officials assist in the Spurs equaliser? Quickly gave Rose the ball to launch a throw in 8 yards from where they ball went out of play, it's bad enough playing against XI without such helpers!

Only the guy who assisted the Spurs goal today!
Trevor-- I don't think that, even with a dire shortage of referees throughout the lower echelons of the game, they would want a 72 year old with arthritic knees, coming out of retirement and trying to keep up with the young lads of today.

Jug ears will focus on Spurs. That's for sure.
Shearer's usually very complimentary about us, if he's on.
As is Danny Murphy.

They might just surprise us, though....

Ashington, I'm sure you wouldn't be far behind Moss :D

Is Alex Scott one of the pundits tonight?

If not, I'm going down the pub!

Personally I think it's a bit of a myth that we don't get fair treatment on MOTD

Obviously they'll focus on Kane's return and Spurs' stumble in pursuit of the title but whilst I don't watch that regularly I can't think of any of the pundits who haven't given us credit when it's due, definitely Shearer, Murphy and Jenas maybe Ian Wright is the exception. Does Keown ever do MOTD - he always speaks highly and intelligently of us and provides good analysis.

If the match got boring you could always get your bass out and entertain them.

Be worth watching just to witness Poch's meltdown,Shearer is usually fair in his analysis, when was the last time we were first on MOTD,one for the statisticians. ;)

I thought the pundits were very fair tonight. In fact, they were more than generous; Kane hardly got a mention. Happy days.

Great match review tonight, very very complimentary about our team, with a surprising focus on Ben Mee which was great to see.

Ince Ince-sisted on calling him Woods despite it being written on the screen. Didn't realise just how bad a pundit he is. Spent an age on the corner decision and no mention of the throw that led to their goal other than an in-commentary "great throw-in from Rose"...the effin cheek!

UTC!

Once also commented that Barnes & Wood aren’t technically good.......

.....whilst Barnes dipping first time shot in the first half was being shown

Was waiting for their comments on the throw in. Unsurprisingly, it wasn't mentioned.

Other than that, very fair summary.

Leicester playing diving to try and get penalty (failed) and Palace player diving as well (succeeds).
Cheats the lot of ‘em.

The likes of Ince, Savage and Wright offer no worthwhile input as pundits. I’m sure the BBC are just trying to prove that even the intellectually challenged can get a job with them. On the other hand I’m sure Shearer, Murphy, Jenas and Keown have respectable IQs.

Tbf to the pundits they had to focus more on Jeff's challenge as opposed to Roses throw as it caused Poch's meltdown. However the rest of the analysis focused rightly on how good the Mighty Clarets were.

I think he was trying to say that they are good technically but he struggles to speak in coherent sentences.

Ince was / is an awful pundit, but in fairness, I assumed that he mean't not technically good compared to the top PL strikers like Aguerro, Sanchez, Hazard, Salah etc. In that respect he was correct.
