Just about to start my treatment for Head & Neck Cancer, saturdays game will be my last for a while...and what a fitting way to finish my trips to the Turf. Look forward to reading all your match reports and updates...here's to hopefully stepping back on the Turf next August.

All the best ewanrob.

As others have said, it CAN be beaten. I should know, I've beaten it ( twice ).

I don't know what form your treatment takes, but if it's curative treatment, and it sounds like it is, stick at it.

All the very best to you.I became ill three years ago the night before Blackburn home game I needed two operations and our run in to the title was via radio and TV .As we all know football is nothing in the big scheme of things but it gave me a good side attraction and a perfect tonic at times. So again good luck stay positive and look forward to getting back down the Turf come August

As said above - it can be beaten. Show as much courage as the Clarets have done over the last few weeks, knock it into the back of the net.

Best of luck mate.

Wishing you a successful and speedy recovery ewanrob. Hard to put into words a response to Longside4ever, such courage in expressing empathy with ewanrob. Puts into perspective just how trivial football (and polar views on brexit) is at times but we have a common bond ....humanity.
