Positives

Other teams lost
Confirmation again that midfield needs strengthening.
We won’t be losing Tarkowski for England duty on this showing.
We know Cork is not as effective playing with a hangover.
Highlights what Westwood offers.
Taylor played well.

Positives...

3 points v Spuds
0 points v Toon

Had it been the other way round or 2 points from both games we would be cock-a-hoop.

Missed Westy tonight.

But 1st goal a wonder strike though nobody saving that one. 2nd one another of those that falls right for the young lad....

Had Tarky buried that one and the ref given the pen different story....

We bury this and forget about it ... go agai Saturday v Palace.

Come on you Clarets

Agreed. Only Taylor that can come away from that shocker with anything.

The only positives are we didn't end the game with 9 men. Hendrick and Crouch can count themselves lucky.

Other teams lost and we still have everything in our hands. Good positives. Tonight was an abysmal performace, you either accept it look for improvement, or you live in denial.

Win Saturday, 6 points from these three games would be an excellent return.

Bad day at the office after the Lord Mayor's show on Saturday (I do like to mix metaphors now and again) but still 2 points more than I thought we would have at 11pm tonight.

Taylor improving every game.

How do you work that out. Cork lost the ball with what looked like a foul from behind, the argument that got Mee booked. Didn’t see Taylor involved at all unless you are blaming him cos Longstaff was unmarked to the right of our goal?

What a ridiculous comment. Although it does cement the fact you are much happier after a defeat hoping the positivity drops a notch or two on here.

Taylor is a positive
And have to think we can't play that badly on Saturday
Hopefully Westwood will be back too.

Another positive - Certainly won't need more than 4-5 points to stop up.

I watched it whilst drinking cold Spanish 4.5% beer at one Euro a bottle. Taylor had his best game in a Claret shirt.

Can't help thinking we'll need more than that. I can't hazard a guess but 34/35 points just seems a low total for survival.

I'm just looking at previous seasons totals and seeing where teams were at certain points in the season.

What's interesting is that two seasons ago we had one more point (31) after 28 matches and we were 7 points clear (currently 5) of the relegation places at the same time.

Leeds are doing their level best to blow it again,i'd rather be in our position then many other teams.
