Surprised with the high scores here. Thought he had a poor game often making what what he thought was the easy decision rather than the right decision. Having said that , his performance had no bearing on the result.

Totally agree with that, not a good performance at all from him.

Thought he was truly abysmal - highlighted by blowing the whistle to give them a foul before there’d been a tackle

I thought he had very little control today - highlighted when he was ticking off Schlupp, whose attention was elsewhere. Being told off by Lee Probert must be like being flagellated with a wet Cos lettuce !

Incompetent and inconsistent, constantly conned by the continous cheating and time-wasting of the cynical Palace players.

It not Lee it's Eric. He played for us in the 70s

He was poor tbh. Far too easily conned into giving petty decisions, but ultimately he didn't influence the result, thank goodness.

Is there a word for an "awayer" referee?

He was terrible.

I've a lot of time for the officials, lately they've been good to very good, however today he was poor.

No issues with the results , as the score was never in doubt. He was just a bit crap to be honest, and the kissing of his hand and lifting it to the sky as he exited the tunnel was embarrassing... almost like he'd scored a goal
