Good save their keeper, he looks suspect on aerial balls though.

Some great battling there from Cork. Westwood unlucky with the shot.

Screamer for Southampton.

Heaton would've caught it though.

Nice control from Westwood there to get the shot on target.

Shame we can't play more fluidly and have more cracks from outside the box. Obviously under orders not to.

Not sure if Heaton would have caught it as he didn’t catch the Newcastle one.

They aren't closing our crosses down, get Brady, JBG and Crouch on and we we will at least 10-1 ;)

If we're going to keep hoisting these crosses into the box, we might as well get Crouch on at half time.

We played well that first half. Some good build up play especially. Unlucky with the goal, but overall we have been well on top. Fingers crossed it goes our way second half. Wind blowing into Jimmy Mac too which may help.

Despite the unlucky whoopsie Bardsley is playing well, putting some nice balls into their box and working hard. Westwood is looking very good as well. Easy to see that all the lads are up for this one. We are making their back line work hard and if we can keep calm and focussed despite the score line we can win this one. Definitely looked the more threatening team and If we keep doing what we are doing we have a couple of goals in us.

Possibly replace Dwight with Brady during the next half and bring on Crouch with JBG later on.

Palace have more in their locker than one goal despite us having more chances. JBG on for Hendrick would be my first move, focus on getting the crosses near the suspect keeper.

Really need the crowd behind us second half, this is a big half in our season. If we can turn the game on its head it'll see us nearly safe with some really rough games to come. Seems we've done okay but need a bit more, hope this isn't going to be another disappointing result. I would be happy with a point now I think given the Cardiff scoreline.

Sounds (Clarets Player) that ref is giving them all the decisions

Palace have had no shots on target but lead 1-0

Otherwise we have played well

7-1 to win match

Hindsight always 20/20 - McNeil should’ve been rested midweek, doesn’t have the stamina for 3 games in 8 days, did a lot of work against Spurs. Needs to spend summer on a treadmill.
