I don't pick apart too much, but can you elaborate please?

CP had 4 shots, 4 on target, 3 goals and extreamly lucky after some indecision not to get either a pen or a 4th goal.

Aww I see, I didn't see the numerous 1v1 situation to be fair where he kept is in it.

I await his MOM result and around 8 average in player ratings to confirm that I missed the obvious.

Its not exactly news, but we concede the first goal and we struggle. So concede one when we were comfortably the better team is annoying.

First half was more than fine, 2nd half wasn't

Heaton 6
Bardsley 5
Tarkowski 5
Mee 5
Taylor 6
Hendrick 6 - unlucky to be hooked I thought, we really struggled 2nd half and the quality of crossing continued to be zero.
Cork 5
Westwood 6
O'Neil 5
Wood 5
Barnes 6

Subs
JBG 4
Brady 4
Crouch 4

We got into positions to put in great crosses time and time again. And we didn't. Palace even let us overlap on both wings at times, secure in the knowledge that the cross would be crap and they could break. That needs sorting asap.
Spot on Lancaster.
I came off wondering how we lost that so badly and despite Taylor's efforts all three goals came from the right.1) cross from right pinged back onto Bardsley. 2) ball crossed into the box from the right, 3) Brady faffing around on the right trying to stop one of their players, into Zaha on the right, jinxed into the box left Mee and Taylor almost on their arses, through Tarks legs into the net.

BTW no wonder O'Neill was so poor today as he was still in Oz at 2.55 pm :D :D

Strange game; we dominated the first half and they 'did a Burnley' on us. Second half we were dreadful.

I agree you do see a different game live in the stand.
My comment was aimed at the scores of everyone getting a 3.
I would roughly agree with your scoring apart from McNeil would be a 5 from me.

Tarks probably blew away his England call up.

Westwood played his best game for us, more in the first half but overall brilliance.

Agree with all the comments about a class string midfielder. However we also need a poacher, the amount of balls whipped in the area that our strikers don’t throw themselves at worries me. We could also do with someone who can take a shot facing goal, our first reaction is to pass to the wing- somebody needs to be brave and bloody hit it.

We do regarding the poacher type jermaine defoe type instead of that we've gone with a aerial threat, probably a gulf with wages in bringing.
