Dyxit

Post by brexit » Sun Mar 03, 2019 8:56 am

The club need a plan for the exit of Sean Dyche from BFC on the 31st May 2019.
The club fan base is split with a slight majority in the leave camp and a vocal but deluded set of fans in the remain group.
The current deal on the table hoofball, dinosaur tactics, not taking cup competitions seriously, a ban on scouting and signing young non-crocked foreign players is not one the club can accept.
We need to find a manager who can change tactics and recognise that there are players out there who can change the way we plan.

The post-dyche era must allow the club to wallow in mid table obscurity and pursue the goal of long cup runs

I think if he did go it would only be a couple of games before you realise what we'd let go.

It's ironic that you people that pay for your season tickets got a renewal reminder saying don't need to do anything on Sat morning and then you have to sit through that performance. But then again it's cheaper than paying £50 an hour for Ma Grout's dominatrix skills up pike hill way.

He's got three more years hasn't he?

I don't see any circumstances where we sack him to be perfectly honest at this level and I do struggle to think anyone else could do any better with what we have.

I quite like a game of Dixit every now and then. Interesting social engagement, quick playing, simple rules and attractive artwork.

£20-£25 for any number of stay in entertainment evenings for all ages, what's not to like?

Dixit Odyssey is probably the better buy, because you get more components and the box has room to fit in any expansion card packs you might want to buy.

Other good social games include Sheriff of Nottingham, The Resistance and Codenames. Although all of them need a group that fully buys into the idea that the social engagement between the players is a lot more important than base mechanics, which can be a difficult notion for some groups to grasp at the start.
