As well as the usual junk mail and brown letters, I received an interesting looking letter from the Club yesterday morning.

The lady wife was equally interested and wondered aloud if I'd won something in the draw. "Either that or they'd like me to play", I responded.

"Do they need a fat bloke ambling around mid-field" was her reply, which surprised me 'cos she doesn't know a thing about football.

Turned out it was the season ticket renewal notification; anybody else think the renewal letter was anything else.

No, mine had the club badge large on the envelope so I kind of guessed it wasn't (another) bus lane violation!!

Ian, a word of advice. Try and whip some low crosses in for Barnsey, the long high balls arnt much good, unless Crouchy is up there for you.
