Burnley Players Autobiography
Burnley Players Autobiography
How many of our players past or present have had books published? I'm currently reading Peter Crouch's, how to be a footballer.

Re: Burnley Players Autobiography
I suppose the next question is which one should I read next. I've read Joey's and most of Crouchys.

Re: Burnley Players Autobiography
I quite enjoyed reading Stan's autobiography, opens with him receiving a call from Vinny Jones calling him a fat bas**rd if I remember correctly. He also recalls the incident with Warnocks staff listening to his team talk through the door. He also tells of having a scrap with a player on the training ground but I can't remember who it was with, anyone?

Thanks djemba. Quite funny that one, told the players not to break it up but didn't expect them not to! Lol.djemba-djemba wrote:Ron Futcher

Re: Burnley Players Autobiography
Ron Futcher wasn't at TM when Stan as manager - unless they were together at another club.
If it refers to Stan's time in charge here I always thought it was Glen Little he had an altercation with.

It was while they were both at Bradford City in the 80's.EarbyClaret wrote:Ron Futcher wasn't at TM when Stan as manager - unless they were together at another club.
