Grim weather forecast for Sunday’s match

Post by Carport » Fri Mar 08, 2019 10:41 pm

50 mph gusts. Real feel 1. Heavy hail showers. Will suit us down the ground - or will it be up in the air?

BBC forecasts gusts of wind up to 49mph, 6-7 degrees, and a 54% chance of rain or hail .... lovely !

Doesnt matter on the weather we will hoof it as per. Even if it is windy least they dont have to worry about losing balls over the Bob Lord roof.

50mph in the desert today. 65f so felt about 40f.
You couldn't see the mountains 5 miles east of us because of the sandstorm.

Is the game in danger of being postponed? Danger to supporters and/or impossible to play football in 60 mph winds? Or perhaps it will be sheltered to a degree inside the ground?

And as predicted, the kids match is off.

I'll have to watch us instead.

Gusts of around 50 in Liverpool and 40 down here now on the Met Office site for 12-2 so unless there’s a new law that states so I really can’t see the game being in doubt.
