Pretty simple then, we want everyone else below Palace to lose?

everyone below palace will lose

Cardiff is the main one. They lose today and city win and the feel of tomorrow changes a bit. More pressure heaped on Liverpool to win and us going out there knowing that whatever happens we still have that 5 point cushion.

Newcastle v Everton
Cardiff v West Ham

There's potential points there for the home sides, not so cut & dry I think.

Last minute change as Murray replaces Andone who's picked up an injury in training.

Andone; hardly torn up trees but he's looks alright for spells, been a better signing than Vydra so far.

Knockaert could have walked after about 10 seconds.

But only when he's been given reasonable game time tbf.

Knockaert SHOULD have walked. A deliberate studs into the goolies challenge. Pawson weak.

Reasonable but definitely not regular.
Only had 560 minutes game time to Vydra's 270 out of a possible 2600.
3 more goals to show for it.

Brighton probably 2-0 up with VAR there. Murray pulled down in the box.

These sort of games are the reason why Palace are not further up the table.

And Palace score from another penalty and I’m not convinced Townsend hasn’t dived

Two changes. But they weren’t that good last week.

It’s no wonder CP struggle at home.Zaha &Townshend are a couple of show ponies who have no end product. Away, when they have space, they are decent players.

And Woe-vers get well and truly nobended ... PNE's 1st double over B'stards since 1978 ....

6 defeats in 7 ... only 1 point from a possible 21 :D

Innit Brilliant

Antony Knockaert scores a worldy ... 2-1 to the Seagulls

Shouldnkt even be on the field and he scores a goal like that. Absolutely no idea how CP get away with it every year they are garbage.

That finish reminded me of Lennon or Hendrick when they play right wing, mind you Knockaert probably can`t run round like a headless chicken flattering to deceive.

Amazing the ref didn’t think that foul in the first 15 seconds was a red.

And people wonder why there are so many calls for VAR.

Palace are shot, just shows how bad last week's result was.
We were the best team for 50 minutes and found ourselves 2 down. That's the difference. In some ways they are like us, they can only be really effective on the counter. If wed scored first last week we could have won comfortable.
It highlights even more our need to take the chances when they come.
Final note, we cant rely on anyone else football is too unreliable, we have to do it for ourselves.

Depressing first result of the day as I was reckoning on Brighton being one of the three main candidates to finish below us (as well as the two dead-men of course). Really need Spurs...and particularly..West Ham to win now. I'm a pessimist when it comes to football and have had a bad feeling about this weekend.

Pickford just cocks up a cross, then brings Rondon down. Penalty missed. Pickford could have been sent off, then Everton score to make it 2 nil.
