A sense of perspective...
Poor weekend at the offices.
However, next up for Cardiff, Chelsea h and city a.
For us Leicester and wolves at h. We need to be looking at 4 pts there, minimum 3 which would put us 6 clear of Cardiff by the timer they arrive at TM
You’d have thought anything but a Cardiff win and we’re looking pretty good...

Re: A sense of perspective...
here's a bit of perspective.
If Cardiff avoid the drop at our expense it will be for one almost unthinkable reason: Colin would be proven to be a better manager than Sean Dyche.

We have the means and the points.

Re: A sense of perspective...
Colin has done well at times this season. Team choice engineered by the fixture on Saturday and it worked.
Somewhat less predictable than turning out the same 11 whatever.

Re: A sense of perspective...
Very strange to believe Cardiff won't pick any points up.
Re: A sense of perspective...
Cardiff have nothing to lose and much to gain if they
can beat Chelsea and they'll have three weeks rest afore they play them.
Chelsea will have played twice before they face Cardiff.
Much may depend on how Chelsea fare at Everton the week before
as a win there will still keep them in the race for a top four finish.
But in reality it all really depends on how we fare at home to Leicester and Wolves
in our next two.
Do well in those two games and we could be 5 or 6 points ahead of them.
Do badly and we could still be just the two points ahead.

I said when the the Sala incident happened that it’l the greatest signing Cardiff never made.
That sort of tragedy can create a togetherness that money can’t buy for a club. Uniting fans, players and even the media.

After the Southampton game they lost their next three quite heavily - Watford, Everton & Wolves so it didn't seem to have that much effect.bfccrazy wrote:I said when the the Sala incident happened that it’l the greatest signing Cardiff never made.

And, call me cynical, but considering Cardiff don't want to pay his transfer fee it seems all a bit manufactured and very cringe worthy.

Re: A sense of perspective...
Yeah, but the way the fans were after it - and the way Warnock came out saying “this is bigger than football and it doesn’t matter if we go down etc..” probably took all expectation away - they were dead and buried a few weeks ago according to many and had nothing to play for and have gone out playing like that and got results.Spijed wrote:After the Southampton game they lost their next three quite heavily - Watford, Everton & Wolves so it didn't seem to have that much effect.

It’s all a bit much now but it’s the way football is.
