City have it in the bag..

Post by SmudgetheClaret » Mon Mar 11, 2019 7:55 am

Really enjoyed anfield yesterday odd weather but great atmosphere and position to watch, good side but they had more than a big slice of luck due to our mistakes ! I think City have no weak players and just look superior all round and I can’t see anything but another title for them ..

I too think that City will win the league. What do the respective fixture run-ins look like for Liverpool and City?

City have still to play Spurs and United. You just never know. Either team could have a bad run.

I do think City will win the league though.

City have had it in the bag all season. Massive gulf in class between them and Pool.

Disagree about the Beatles, but I go along with the rest.

It's certainly theirs to lose especially if they can 'carry around ' with them referees of the ilk of last Saturdays. Their first goal, which broke the deadlock, was a stinker of a wrong decision.
Liverpool don't have the depth of talent that City possess but if teams are as generous as Burnley were for the first 3 goals yesterday then they are always in with a chance...a puncher's chance maybe.

Liverpool like City only have to win their remaining games to secure the title.

I still think it's to close to call and City will still be playing in three competitions
and may still have an additional 3 or 4 more games to play than Liverpool.
They've still to play Spurs and Man United.

I think if Liverpool go out of the Champions League on Wednesday against Bayern
then I put them as slight favourites.

Liverpool could win all their remaining games and still finish 2nd

I hope so as I don’t want to have to cheer City's 6th goal in against us to make sure the redshite don't win the league.

It helps when you are bankrolled by dirty foreign money and basically cheat the fair play rules like City have done.

You are correct. I thought they still had to play each other for some reason.

I know this will upset some of our resident closet Reds, but I’d be quite happy for Liverpool to wait another 29 years before winning a Title.
