He's entitled to go down (penalty.)
I've seen them given (penalty|)
Answer 'Yes or no' ( to politicians who never answer that way, so why ask?)
We are very clear on that point.

Instead of asking a direct question, asking it indirectly by putting "right" at the end of a sentence because you think it makes you sound just soooo cool and ever so intelligent.
i.e. Instead of saying "Did we look at the process?" we get "We looked at the process...right?"

I have the misfortune to have to travel to London most weeks for work and ‘can I get’ is all you hear now in cafes and restaurants. I make a point of saying ‘ can I have’ Aaaaagh! Did the Yanks pass us ‘can I get’?alf_resco wrote:This.
I was at the counter of a posh(ish) bistro in Richmond on Thames a few weeks ago.
The early 20s studenty-type immediately before me said to the server, "Can I get a medium latte?"
I immediately jumped in and said, "No, YOU can't get it, she'll get it for you. It's please may I have?".
He was so gobmacked he didn't say a word, turned on his heels and left.
Good job he didn't get aggressive; I'm too old for fighting.

Burnley doesn't belong in the Premier League.
We are one of the original 10 clubs in the first league.
We belong!
