I've seen them given (penalty|)
Answer 'Yes or no' ( to politicians who never answer that way, so why ask?)
We are very clear on that point.

Instead of asking a direct question, asking it indirectly by putting "right" at the end of a sentence because you think it makes you sound just soooo cool and ever so intelligent.

i.e. Instead of saying "Did we look at the process?" we get "We looked at the process...right?"

I have the misfortune to have to travel to London most weeks for work and ‘can I get’ is all you hear now in cafes and restaurants. I make a point of saying ‘ can I have’ Aaaaagh! Did the Yanks pass us ‘can I get’?
