It was 7 months ago - you need to move on.

Oh and btw if you are telling the truth one director doesn’t constitute a board - you are just making sh-it up again saying the board didn’t want to be in Europe.
No. But some have bigger voices than others. Catch my drift.

And if we dont get in europe any time soon, I probably wont forget it. Get over it yes. Forget it? No.

His objective isn't to get Burnley fans posting on here about him.

His objective is to get Burnley fans listening to him on Talksh1te and phoning in.

Super - getting over it means not banging on about it several months after....it’s finished.
First world problems complaining about how we approached Europe....you’ll be begging for these kind of problems when we are no longer in the Premier league.

Well I wont. Because dropping out of europe means we will finish 17th forever. So there.

aaaah bless...is there not a stamp your feet emoji ?

sadly we will get relegated - just like 95% of the teams who have been in the premier league have been relegated.

Ok - sorry £185m turnover !!

Point is that history shows vast majority of clubs who have been in premier league get relegated eventually. Isn’t it about 50 clubs who have been in the league.

Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley and even possibly Huddersfield are likely to be relegated.

Enjoy it whilst you can....or alternatively don’t enjoy it and keep being angry about Europe. Honestly I couldn’t care less which you choose (CC)

However people try and dress it up we wasted a once in a lifetime chance to have a go in a European competition. You can't blame people for being frustrated the way it turned out.

We got beat with a team who have regularly played in the champions league. We were the underdogs and we went as far as we were expected to.
That’s the way it “turned out”.
It was still a “once in a life time experience” for many of our fans. For some it was a twice in a life experience after thinking the first one would be a once in a lifetime !
When we we first up with Coyle I thought that was a once in a lifetime experience for me after we had gone down.

But we played a weakened team out in Athens. That's the frustrating thing, we proved on the Turf that Olympiakos were nothing to really fear.

I swear this message board is stuck in a loop, every month the we didn't take Europe seriously line gets rolled out.

Any predictions for a copy and paste post / thread from a certain poster when Man City beat Swansea today in FA Cup?

Had we taken the City game seriously..............bore off.

NL Claret logs off UTC until about 6pm for another 5 minutes before logging off again.

They comfortably beat us like they beat many teams at home.
Seriously you need to take a massive reality check if you think we should have beaten a team of their pedigree.

Oh and btw you might want to just recheck the teams we put out in both of those games - they look remarkably similar to our current team !!

I didn't expect us to beat them, but we should have given ourselves the best chance! Throwing in a keeper who hadn't played for nearly a year behind a centre back pairing who'd played together once before for a tough away game spoke volumes about Dyche's priorities.

When you say “a keeper”why don’t you just call him by his name. You know - Tom Heaton - arguably our best keeper and now back in the England squad.
Same with the centre backs - both full internationals and one who had just cost £15m.
The way Ben Mee started this year not sure how it would have made a big difference. The large majority of players who played in those 2 legs are the same players who have been playing since Christmas.

We played in Europe and we got beat by a team who were better and massively more experienced than us in Europe. Yet 7 months later some of you still seem frustrated and upset.

And with a bit of luck, and better finishing, could easily have won that tie.

And we weren't representing the premier league, we were representing Burnley.
