Heaton 6 (Looks up, sees Wood or Crouch and kicks the long high ball to Barnes. Daft and pointless)
Bardsley 5
Tarks 5 (England CB? Never in a million years)
Mee 7 (better than Keane, Shackell and Tarkowski all rolled into one)
Taylor 7 (Once again a shining light on a crap day)
Cork 5 (Pedestrian)
Westwood 6 (Trying so, so hard not be, but still pedestrian)
JBG 6
McNeil 7
Barnes 4 (Not today Ash mate)
Wood 3 (God awful and at times embarrassing)

Crouch 6
Brady 3 (Garbage)
Vydra N/A

A promising first 5 minutes and in hindsight such a shame Maguire caught JBG, as if he'd actually gone on and scored it would have been far better for us. As it was we lumped and lumped and lumped that high floated ball forward and Leicester (who were no mugs with 10 or 11 men) soaked it up with consummate ease. The only two occasions we played footy on the deck in the first half, we got Maguire sent off and we scored a really good goal. Unfortunately second half we resorted to the much discussed hoof ball in atrocious and decidedly un hoof ball conditions and looked absolutely toothless . Barnes, who I love to bits, was awful and that makes Wood, who I don't like at all, utterly dog poo. Why leave Barnes on for the whole game I've no idea and why leave Wood on beyond the 5th minute I've even less idea. Having said that our crossing was appalling (again) and our long ball was constantly aimed at Barnes or JBG (for god's sake) when either Wood or crouch surely has to be the target. Credit to Leicester who were dogged with 10 men and fought a second half rearguard action and although they would have been happy with the point, they threw bodies forward in the 90th minute to claim the win. I said before the game and throughout that I'd be happy to take the draw with Cardiff then 3 points adrift with 8 to play, but we couldn't even manage that. We look like relegation fodder and if we go down we absolutely deserve to over 38 matches, BUT if by some miracle we cling on and stay up, a massive clear out is priority number 1. Too many players really aren't good enough imo.

The most negative I have felt in a long time about Burnley. Players and management to blame today

Heaton 5 if we are down before season end I would give Pope a few games
Bardsley 6 but not really enough going forward
Tarkowski 4 thinks he’s Beckenbauer. He ain’t. Lax.
Mee 6
Taylor 7
JBG 6
Cork 4 Anon as per usual. We could replace him as we had such a good transfer window oh hang on a minute let’s hope the poor form improves
Westwood 5 covered ground but we were playing 10 men
McNeil 7 great prospect
Barnes 5
Wood 4 if we play hoof ball he looks sh*t

Crouch 4 offered what I expected nothing
Brady 4 stealing a wage at the moment

Dyche one dimensional predictable zzz slow slow keep the shape

Agree with post 17 and 35 .We need to be creative in midfield as Westwood and Cork are not the answer should have looked to replace Defour in January . How Barns stayed on for 90 mins he was a passenger today .

Ha ha ha.......you’re joking right? Fives for Taylor, JBG and McNeil! You clearly either didn’t watch the game or have no idea about the game of football.

Heaton 5 - 2 poor games in a row, if his name was Hart he'd be getting lynched.
Taylor 8 - 2 excellent games in a row, just a shame he's playing with the other defenders he is...
Mee 7 - thought he was okay
Tarkowski 4 - poor, head wasn't in the game
Bardsley 5 - he is what he is and sometimes that's a good thing, other times it isn't.
JBG 6 - didn't bring much to the party but wasn't awful either.
Westwood 6 - not at the level he's shown this season
Cork 5 - off his game
McNeil 8 - well taken goal and very unlucky when he hit the bar.
Barnes 5 - didn't take advantage of the fact Leicester had 10 men
Wood 5 - as above, plus being offside a lot.

If Brady had played long enough he'd get a 2. Waste of space at times and what was he doing to give them the opportunity to score the winner?!

Heaton - 5
Bardsley - 5
Tarkowski - 3
Mee - 4
Taylor - 6
JBG - 5
Cork - 5
Westwood - 5
McNeil - 7
Wood - 3
Barnes - 4

Dyche - 3 (because that's as low as you can go)

I put the defeat squarely at Dyches door. His lack of tactical nous is going to cost us.
